How Long Does a Chiropractic Appointment Take?

It depends on whether it's your first visit or a follow-up. Plan accordingly.

Your first appointment at Full Swing Healthcare will take 45 to 60 minutes. We use that time to do a full health history, run orthopedic and neurological tests, evaluate your posture and movement, and talk through what's been going on. If you have imaging to share, like X-rays or MRI results, bring it and we'll review it together. Most new patients get their first adjustment at the end of that visit.

Follow-up visits are shorter, typically 20 to 30 minutes. We check in on how you've been feeling since your last visit, adjust the treatment based on your progress, and run the adjustment and any soft tissue work that's part of your plan.

If your care plan includes StemWave shockwave therapy, acupuncture, cupping, or IASTM scraping in addition to an adjustment, the session will run a bit longer. We'll always give you a realistic time estimate when you book so you can plan your day accordingly.
